How to log into a new TikTok account
Logging into an account for the first time is the moment most people break it. Not because it's hard, but because the instinct — change everything immediately, from a new country, on a device already running four other accounts — is exactly the pattern that triggers a security hold.
Before you start
Have three things in front of you: the username, the password, and the account's email address. The email address is the important one — it's how you receive verification codes and how you recover the account later.
Use a phone, not a desktop browser, if you can. The account was created in a mobile app, and continuing in the mobile app is the least surprising thing you can do next.
The first login
Open TikTok, choose to log in with a username or email, and enter the credentials as given. If the app offers to save the password, let it.
TikTok will very often ask to verify that it's you, because the login is coming from a device it has never seen. It sends a six-digit code to the account's email address. This is normal and expected — it is not a sign that something is wrong.
Getting the verification code
The code goes to the account's email address, which you may not have direct inbox access to. If you bought the account from us, your order page has a login-code button that reads that mailbox and returns the latest code.
The order matters: trigger the login in the app first, wait a few seconds for the message to arrive, then fetch the code. Fetching before the app has sent anything simply returns nothing.
Codes expire quickly, usually within a few minutes. If one has gone stale, ask the app to send a new one and fetch again.
What to change, and when
Wait until you're logged in and the session is stable — the same day is fine, the same minute is not.
Change the password first, and only that. Give it a day. Then, if you want, add your own email or phone number as a recovery method rather than replacing the existing one straight away. Keeping the original email attached until you're sure everything works costs you nothing and saves the account if a challenge appears.
Set up two-factor authentication once things have settled. Do it too early, on a session the platform hasn't yet trusted, and you can lock yourself out of your own account.
Mistakes that get a fresh account locked
Logging in from several devices in the same hour. Pick one device and stay on it for the first week.
Changing username, display name, email, password and profile picture within the first few minutes. Any one of those is fine. All five at once is the signature of a stolen account.
Immediately posting, mass-following, or sending DMs. Watch some videos first. It costs an evening and it is the cheapest insurance available.

What the first week should look like
Open the app once or twice a day and watch. Let videos run to the end rather than swiping through them — watch time is the strongest signal you can send about what you want to be shown, and it is what teaches the feed which niche this account belongs to.
Like a few things. Follow three or four accounts in the area you care about. Leave a comment if you have something to say. That is the entire recipe, and it works because it is what a person does.
Wait until the end of the week before you post, and longer before you post anything promotional. An account with no history that opens with an advert is the single easiest pattern to filter, and the week you spend not posting is the cheapest protection available for something you paid for.
